Apprehensive - Scary – frightening, left alone, deeply fearful, phobias, sorrowful and worried,  fear of being left alone, apprehensive

Feeling left alone in a world seen as threatening. At one’s core, feeling  apprehensive and wanting nothing more than to hide away. The threat can  consist of a great sorrow that has been taken very much to heart, the  consequences of which now paralyze self-initiative. One’s own weaknesses lead  to a fear that the heart may simply stop beating.

Feeling tense and constantly  stressed.  A very fundamental anxiety exists that can be directed against real objects  although it is experienced as diffuse and quite general. Some people develop  a fear of fear, which can be seen as a kind of emotional “echo” that has an  amplifying effect.
